tere's never enough light in this season of darkness...love both of them
Juliet,Candles and cards are truely depictions of the season and our desire to rise above the wretchedness of the world.rel
Two great little pieces! I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds penguins slightly sinister!
Keith - actually I love penguins, but these particular cartoon ones are definitely menacing and sinister! Polona and Rel - thanks!
these are both wonderful.. i do love the first one.. and i am seeking the light of my own candle as i write this....
Both haiku so revealing of the season! Marcia (MeeAugraphie)
Both lovely.
Two nice ones. The penguins are like a New Yorker cartoon only better; and the frost is picture perfect. Thanks.
Vivid images of this season tinge with hope written in brevity in haiku form. Lovely as it paints picture and leave thoughts in the mind.I wish you well this season.~ Jeques
Great Haiku's I adored the penguin one. They keep on marching in my head
Yeah, I can identify with the candle thing - although I suspect there is a deeper meaning than the obvious. And hey, I think I've seen those penguins somewhere too!
The second one made me giggle, but the first one--oh, so profound. Beautiful symbolism.
Beautiful and fun. I love penquins. AND candles.
You know, I've seen those penguins and I agree! Strangley menacing indeed!
loved them both, the second one was very interesting...thank you.UL
nice haikus!
