haiku - vision

raging headaches
of scary intensity -
scenes of destruction

(inspired by Cordelia's visions in the tv series Angel)

there's another view of visions on Crafty Green Poet here.

Vision for
One Deep Breath

Your bracketed explanation added another level to this haiku, but on plain reading it reminded me of those adverts, where a headache or other ailment taints everything you see or do. Very powerful image.

jem - thankfully I don't get headaches that bad, though i know people who do.

paisley - thanks

I get migraines, and positively winced at this one. Yeouch!

I miss that show (I was a fan, though I only stumbled upon it in re-runs).

I used to get migraines (I'm one of the fortunate women sufferers who found as I aged they decreased in frequency until I have maybe one a year now ... thanks be to all the Deities!), so I do identify with it.

I want to know more about the scenes of destruction that are presumably causing the headaches.

No clue what this refers to but not a vision most of us would like.

There's no doubt in my mind that this scene is not so good. Vivid words!

plain foolish - sorry...

roswila - we're watching it all on video just now, we never watched it when it was on tv! Sorry you get migraines, but good that you're getting fewer as you age

watermaid - you'd need to watch the show, its a long story otherwise...

spacedlaw - not too obscure I hope...

tumblewords - thanks!

This reminded me of the one nasty headache I got that was migraine-level ... the explanation added to the image. Very evocative.

Migraines are scenes of destruction and mine come with light displays. Do they count as visions? Evocative post :)

Your blog has the very long history all. Only three months when I cut off blog for the first time pass. Therefore I was surprised very much. It needs great energy to continue everything. In addition the content of your blog is artistic. I respect you very much. ruma
