I love wrought iron shadows and this is a perfect example of why!! What a crisp, beautiful shadow, Juliet! I hope you're having a great weekend!

We so often envision and think of wrought iron as a cold and impersonal metal. Yet under a strong Scot sun, the shapes fall onto the sidewalk of a warm and artistic style, that accents the warmth from above we have craved all Winter. A great capture!

What can I say that hasn't been said ? LOL
I love gates .. and this type are so strong and silent in a way .. perhaps the shadow will tell some of its secrets for us ?
The picture says it all : )

The lines of the crossing shadows and seams create a lovely plaid. This is very nice.

Are you loving the sun as our spring creeps ever so closely now...things are finally greening and growing in the gardens of Iowa, hopefully in Scotland too, 40 shades of green all over the world!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

I don't know which I like better, wrought iron gates or the shadows they cast. Lovely photo!
