Oh, this would be a great poem for a real time discussion group! I like the phrase time kaleidoscopes
and the last stanza is certainly strong and cinches the point.

You know I think of WCW Red Wheelbarrow, can't help it. But then I think of that poem from the humor issue of Poetry Magazine, that is something like "so much depends upon on a white cadillac grazed with rainwater, beside the white chicks." or something of that ilk...it's good.

Love the image of the red dress against the snow. And can I just say that I cracked up reading about the "white cadillac grazed with rainwater beside the white chicks." Gotta get my hands on that issue.

But back to your poem. Loved it.
