Sounds like yum to me. Pastry case is a nifty term (is it one that cooks know? :)) Nice!

This sounds wonderful! I'm not familiar with "pastry case" - I"m wondering if that's what we call "puff pastry" in the States.

Really nice recipe haiku. My mouth is still watering and it's food I can't eat. Sigh. (BTW, I got an error message at your permalink, got here through your profile page....)

I learn the recipe from my Mum. Pastry case is well just a way of describing the pastry for a pie. Shortcrust pastry in this case. Puff pastry is probably the same for all of us?

Yummmmmmmmmm. It's chilly here right now, and that sounds so warming. (And, yes, it does get chilly in Northern California! Why, I don't think it's even 60 degrees yet!)
